Why has benefits4charities being set up?
With the change in the how charities are paying their beneficiaries it was felt that there was a need to enable charities to use a simple but cost effective portal for purchasing requirements. As you will know alternative payment methods are a subject of debate currently and this provides your charity with another alternative.

What type of discounts are available?
Grass Roots are able to offer your charity a % of the rebate/discount that we have agreed with the voucher and product suppliers. This basically will allow your charity to gain additional savings/revenue on your current spend, which are payable on per order. Discounts can range from 3-5% on any order value, so if you were spending approx £100,000 per annum, there is a cost saving of £3000- £5000 to be had.

Which retailers can the charity pure card be redeemed at?
Grass Roots have agreed with a limited number of retailers where the charity pure card can be redeemed. The selection of retailers on the payment card has being carefully chosen to cover many of your charity’s needs. For instance there are retailers to cover electrical goods, food items, essential household items, clothing and holidays to name a few.

What are the registration costs to use the site?
There are no registration costs to use benefits4charities and it is quick and simple to set up your charity in order to start ordering immediately. Once you have registered, you are required to state whether you will be looking to purchase on a card or invoice terms. We can then activate the account ready to use. In addition to this, we are able to set up an account with a number of different users, each with their own username and password.

Can items be delivered direct to beneficiaries?
In the delivery address section of the order process, you will have the option to send direct to the beneficiary, to your main office or any location in the UK you wish to send the voucher(s) or product.

What if there are products that we purchase but are not found on the site?
In this instance we welcome suggestions from you as to what your requirements are and we will then approach our suppliers with a view to sourcing and providing your suggested product or product range.

Are the prices competitive?
We have a team who managed our relationships with suppliers to ensure that we are offering extremely competitive pricing. In some instances you will find products at lower prices then you would find in the high street.

Are we able to purchase goods for our own personal use?
The site is in the main a closed user group, however as an added benefit to your employees and volunteers, it is possible to purchase vouchers or products for your own requirements. Please note that outside of your organisation it is not possible for members of the public to use for their purchases.

What other services will this site provide?
The site will allow you to keep up to date with new suppliers of both vouchers and products. As well as this, you will be able to keep up to date on energy efficiency programmes which again will enable you to provide energy efficient products to your beneficiaries.
